Since 2005, Austin has raised $3,403.05 for Crawford County Special Olympics by collecting pledges for the annual Bowl-A-Thons. Way to go, Austin!
Austin competes in 4 different Special Olympics sports: bowling, track and field, swimming and bocce.
Austin and Calista competed as a Unified team in bocce at the 2008 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Western Fall Sectionals in Slippery Rock. They brought home GOLD medals in their division! ~ October 12, 2008
Austin competed in bowling at the 2008 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games June 5-8 and brought home the GOLD medal!
We attended the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Western Spring Sectionals on April 27, 2008. Austin took home GOLD medals in all 3 of his events:

Austin won the GOLD medal at the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Western Bowling Sectionals on March 29, 2008! He was also selected to go to Summer Games!
